I am having a lovely day today.
This morning had a poignant visit to Geevor Tin Min which employed 400 people until it closed in 1986, it reopened to close finally in 1991. Most of the shafts are below sea level and the miners could hear the sea above their heads.
Then a leisurely walk to Cape Cornwall
Currently sitting on the peak of Cape Cornwall soaking up the warm sun with sea breezes, blissful. I can see Land's End, only 6.4 miles away, my final destination which I will reach tomorrow
The feature picture is of Botallack Tin Mines so close to the sea
The supplementary pics are of Geevor Tin Mine, 2 pics of miners, Botallack Tin Mines, Cape Cornwall and from Cape Cornwall looking towards Land's End
