JOGLE Day 97 Portreath to St Ives

A long 18 miles walked today but arrived in St Ives by 3pm. Helped in no small measure by bright blue skies and gorgeous sunshine.

A good day for wildlife, seeing brightly coloured goldfinches, seeing a kestral hover and swoop on it's prey and contented seals swimming and basking contentedly on the beach.

I visited St Uny's church in Lelant, the starting church for St Michael's Pilgrimage which ends on St Michael's Mount, on the Cornwall Celtic Way Pilgrimage and the Camino Inglés to Santiago.

I also went through Carbis Bay, which hosted the G7 summit when Boris was Prime Minister

The feature picture today is of Godrevy sands

The supplementary pics today are of seal bay where I saw about a dozen seals, Godrevy sands, approaching St Ives, a narrow St Ives street and where delinquent seagulls end up
