JOGLE Day 96 Perranporth to Portreath

It was mainly wet today, with only dedicated walkers on the Coast Path. I was suddenly approached from behind by a cheery 6ft 4in German in his 20's originally from Berlin now working in Aachen. We parted company in Trevellas Combe when he was taking a direct route up a shalely steep route out of the valley and I followed the orthodox route. I realised I wasn't in my 20's. I saw him briefly in Chapel Combe when he waved from above and I waved from below.

Then disaster struck passed Porthtowen when I tried to take a picture on my phone and the camera app icon had  vanished off my home page. It took me an age to first find the app was still on my phone and then to restore it to my home page. My home page links to GOC and the charities I'm supporting have also gone. My phone seems to go completely awry in the rain. Meanwhile 2 younger women passed me as well. Is the walk tiring me out rather than improving my fitness?

The feature is of one of the many tin mines seen today.

The supplementary pics are of leaving Perranporth beach, a tin mine, 2 seascapes and the harbour and beach in Portreath
