A fine sunny day with good views and great seas. Past the folly near Porth Quin and the volcanic rocks at The Rumps. Fine view down the Camel river from Pentire Point, lovely beaches and a ferry ride to boot.
Had lovely chat with the ladies preparing flowers in St Petroc Church which is on 2 pilgrimage routes, the Saints Way that goes across Cornwall from south to north and the Cornwall Celtic Way from St Germains near the Devon border to St Michael's Mount. The ladies told me of a group from Brittany in smelly habits. A lesson to us all to have clean habits. I also learnt St Petroc came from South Wales.
Also had a lovely chat to a couple from the Midlands who knew and lived close to Lea Marston, Berkeswell and Nailcote Hall, places I walked through earlier on the walk. They were in the plane that went through air turbulance that reached the news headlines.
