Away from Bridgwater we walked many Somerset back lanes into Spaxton village and into the Quantock Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (ANOB). My 3rd of 5 ANOB's on the walk. We sampled the delights of local community shop watching the house martins flying busily in and out of nests with food for their chicks. Later we saw a high flyling Buzzard floating above us. Then onwards to Nether Stowey to Samuel Coleridge's cottage. Coleridge wrote poems such as 'The Rime of the Ancient Mariner' and 'Kubla Khan'. He fratanised with William Wordsworth, who stayed with Coleridge in the cottage.
