A lovely last day today
I was joined today by Neil. Thank you Neil for your lovely company.
We walked the 6 miles up and down valleys, round rocky out crops and the sandy beach of Sennen Cove, before climbing up to the First and Last House and the large St Pirans Flag, the flag of Cornwall.
Already spotted by our reception group, the cheers began. An impromptu finishing line appeared a big banner was held aloft. Champagne and non alcoholic fizzy drinks were uncorked and cheers spoken. Pictures were taken at the Land's End signpost, the signing in book, under the Land's End logo and the offical finishing line. A cake line was cut a firework candle lit. Commerative gifts presented.
Then we all went for a late lunch together
A big thank you to my checkers and correctors of my stage descriptions, to group coordinators who let me enter my stages on their group pages, Scotland and Somerset who included my stages as part of their groups walks, all those who walked with me or met me along the walks and all my donators.
The total donations to the 2 charities currently total £11,660
