James was having a Garraf

On a bright sunny day numerous eager walkers assembled outside The Calipolis Hotel and under James’s watchful eye be boarded our luxury coach for the journey to Olivella, a quaint Spanish village. Before the walk commenced a new GOC member and village resident, Ian, gave us a brief history of the area. James then took command and we started the walk into the Garraf National Park.

We continued on, enjoying fine views and a bit of property porn to our lunch stop, where we enjoyed a mix of refreshments and the odd beer for some. James explained that the next section was a little rougher underfoot, one walker who shall remain nameless clearly misunderstood the context in which rough was being used. He calmed down eventually! The afternoon section offered more fine views and there was much lively conversation. Sitges and the glistening Mediterranean in the distance spurred us on for the decent back into Sitges.

Thanks go to James for a brilliant day out.
