Fifteen members met today at the ancient market town ,parish and manor of Moretonhampstead on the north-eastern edge of Dartmoor.
We visited the motor museum before it closes it’s doors to the public in November.
This collection, in excess of 160 vehicles and motoring memorabilia has been amassed by Mr Frank Loft since his retirement in 2008.It was clear from the animated conversations, clicking of cameras and laughter that countless memories were invoked as we enjoyed this wonderful collection.
We concluded the day with refreshments at the “Baskerville” café where the chatting and camaraderie continued until we separated and went our different ways.
Many thanks to Wyn for organising the event - a great day out!
