Twelve members enjoyed a walk of many parts following the edges of Somerset at Uphill, just south of Weston-super-Mare. We had a stroll on the expansive beach, climbed the highest peak, then enjoyed a good stride on the floodplain of the River Axe. We concluded the walk with a lovely tea at The Boathouse at Uphill (much-recommended). Members joined our walk from the outposts of Gloucester, Tiverton and places in between. The weather was kind with little wind and no rain.
Special thanks to Michael and Graham who devised the route and expertly guided us on the day.
