Easter Sunday, Great Tew car park, 26 walkers gathered to take a gentle 8/9 mile walk around local hamlets and villages.
Derek led the group from Great Tew to Ledwell and further on to Sandford St Martin, returning via Soho Farmhouse.
Bill Fuller mentioned that the church in Sandford St Martin housed a stained glass window by John Piper (the guy who designed the west facing glass windows in Coventry Cathedral) so a short stop was made to check this out.
Lunch was then consumed on the green outside the village hall allowing everyone to recover their strength before the last leg of the walk.
The weather was ideal with sun and a light breeze.
It was great that so many people came to the Falkland Arms Public House afterwards and carry on the chat and banter that had been a lovely part of the days walking.
