No sun again. Is it ever going to return? but the lack of sunshine did not deter a merry band of walkers, some who had travelled some distance to join the walk, who set off on a short easy walk along the Thames at Pangbourne.

Despite fears that the riverside meadows would be muddy the recent dry period had worked its magic and the grass underfoot was relatively dry. Heading southwards away from the river we meandered across meadows, cows grazing in the distance, until we emerged on the outskirts of the village.

We then headed for the Aubergine - an attractive cafe where some enjoyed a cuppa whilst others had something a little more substantial though not gargantuan and of course the chance to catch up with friends and acquaintances.
