We had a good turnout of 20 members for this 5.5 mile Surrey/London mid-week walk which took us through Kingston and Hampton court.

We arrived at the Longwater in Home Park which typically gives you glorious views of the back end of Hampton Court but the sun wasn’t on our side. Instead we had a rather misty day but that didn’t detract from the enjoyment of our walk.

Hampton Court looming through the mist was something to remember! We enjoyed a picnic lunch alongside the river Thames where seagulls circled us but luckily we managed to avoid being attacked!

Arriving safely back at Kingston bridge, some members went off to the pub, some to do some Christmas shopping and others to devour some cake!
