Water of Leith Social Walk

A straightforward social walk of about 8 miles to start the year off and walk off some of those mince pies consumed over Christmas.  We'll follow the Water of Leith walkway from the harbour at Leith to the Water of Leith Visitor's Centre in Slateford.  About 8 miles (13-14Km), 4 - 5 hours.

The route is on good paths throughout; you can leave the walk at virtually any point if you wish as there's no compulsion to do the whole route. There a couple of flights of steps and the paths could be wet in places.  Wear some good walking shoes or boots that you don't mind getting dirty and some warm clothes.
