Transpennine Christmas at Langdon Beck

This year's Transpennine and Adventure Out Christmas meet will be at Langdon Beck YH in the North Pennines.  This is on the other side of Cross Fell from Dufton.  In a change from previous years, where some members have worked hard through the weekend to cook a full Christmas meal for the group, we will instead book a meal at the nearby Langdon Beck Hotel.  Their menu is reasonably varied.  Note that I've NOT included the cost of this meal in the price and members will be responsible for settling their own bills with the hotel.

The price does include breakfasts on Saturday and Sunday mornings, plus pre-dinner drinks and nibbles on the Saturday evening before we go out to the pub.

Walks will be arranged for both Saturday and Sunday; there is plenty of attractive walking direct from the door of the hostel on local hills and surrounding moorland.
