A nine mile circular walk through one of the most unspoiled and rural parts of the Sussex Downs inland between Chichester and Arundel. At about nine miles it is not overly demanding but nonetheless offering a sense of remoteness. There is some open Downland with a mix of interesting woodland. The walk is on good, made tracks.
Weather permitting, we will have fine views both to the sea and to the north.
Please bring drinks and a packed lunch for yourself. Wear clothes appropriate for the weather and terrain. Dogs are welcome if kept on leads whenever near livestock, on roads or requested by the walk leader.
Hot tea and coffee will be provided at the end of the walk. Contributions of cake or other goodies to share will be most welcome.
