TerrainThe route consists of a varied mix of surfaces—sandy stretches, muddy paths, paved sections, and quiet roads—interspersed with hills, steps and the occasional stile.

This walk offers us the chance to explore the first section of St Michael’s Way—one of only two Cornish routes officially linked to the pilgrimage to the Cathedral of St James in Santiago de Compostela, Galicia, north-west Spain. Our path will take us along the coast before heading inland across country.
