A moderate walk of 7.5 miles from Penylan Library to the Waitrose Supermarket in Pontprennau, and back, walking through much of the Llanedeyrn district of Cardiff.
The route includes some open spaces and parkland and except for one steep hill at the start, is mainly on flat terrain.
There will be an opportunity at the midway point of the walk to enjoy refreshments at the recently refurbished Waitrose store.  At this point, those wishing to return can catch the bus back to Penylan using the C1, the 57 or the 58 local buses.   Well behaved dogs are welcome.

At the end of the walk, light refreshments will be available at the walk leader’s house in Penylan.  Please inform Steve, the walk leader, by email, if you plan to go back for refreshments (for catering purposes).
