A figure of 8 walk (2.5 miles and 4.3 miles) around Nettleham village and open fields beyond.  Nettleham has ancient roots with many handsome limestone buildings.  The walk will take us round the village streets, along Nettleham Beck and through Vicar's Wood.  Both loops venture out into the field beyound the village, along public and permissive footpaths.  Lincoln's Bishop once had a 'spare' palace here, now represented by a mounded area to which access has recently been granted.
