A linear 4 mile nature walk from RSPB Pagham harbour to Selsey lifeboat station, taking the bus back.
This route should be delightfully varied, including hopefully the once heard (but not seen by me) squeeling Water Rail. Listen to its call at https://www.rspb.org.uk/birds-and-wildlife/water-rail. Public toilets are available at the Lifeboat station and RSPB centre. There are no stiles on this route. Binoculars can be hired (£5 or £7) for the day from RSPB Pagham.
Wear clothes appropriate for the weather and terrain. New members are always welcome - there is a free no commitment four month trial option. See https://www.goc.org.uk/shop/membership/. Any enquiries contact [email protected].
Bring a light snack and water. Coffee can be bought at the RSPB centre.
