A physically undemanding stroll through the Essex countryside, starting and finishing at the small and pleasant town of Ingatestone. We get a glimpse of Ingatestone Hall - a fine Tudor country house - and pass (and perhaps visit) the isolated church of St Mary's Buttsbury, and progress through the Remus Memorial Horse Sanctuary, horse country and briefly the outskirts of Billericay, before passing through recently planted woodland to Georgian Mountnessing Hall and its adjacent St Giles church, then back to Ingatestone.
