TerrainLargely flat. Some tarmac roads/paths. One short, steep path at the end. Route follows good, clear paths but also crosses several fields so, depending on the weather, may be muddy/wet. Three stiles

A chance to explore the old market town of Faringdon and its hidden (and not so hidden) wonders. An option to visit Faringdon church (please let the walk leader know in advance) and then a route across and around fields with views across the Thames basin of South Oxfordshire towards the Cotswolds. The route includes varied countryside and local villages before returning to the charm and magic of Faringdon wood and folly with views across several counties (weather dependent!).
