The start and finish of this walk is one we've done before but there is an extension in the middle over to Johnstown and Llanllwch.

We start out on the path past the velodrome near Tesco, through the alotments and up to The Picton Monument.

From there we proceed over to Johnstown on a lovely bridleway and then through a tunnel under the A40 road and over to Llanllwch

where we will stop by the church for lunch.

Then on a lovely green path and through Ystrad wood, where some of the paths are steep in places and will probably be a bit muddy.

We emerge near Carmarthen Leisure centre where we have parked before and then walk alongside the river back to Carmarthen

where a coffee shop will be waiting for us!!
