NB The clocks change this weekend.
Let's go to Bethlehem and see Baby Jesus, ah, no, wrong one. The village of Bethlehem near Llandeilo is well known for the post office where you could get your Christmas cards franked with their stamp. Doubt if that is the case these days. The walk is circular and we climb to the iron age forts of Caer Fawr and Caer Fach, together known as the Red Fort. Lovely views across the valley. We will view Gwynfor's Stone and a lecture on it will be provided. .... Bethlehem chapel has some unusual Victorian gravestones, where we will stop for lunch. Some walking along narrow lanes, with little traffic , but be aware as we may need to throw ourselves into some hedges.
***Lots of this walk is on quiet lanes ideal for a winter walk. There are two steepish ups on these lanes the second one after lunch, back to the car park--this is the road on which you will have driven to get to the start of the walk.
