Water of Leith Christmas Social Walk

A straightforward Edinburgh based walk, walking up the Water of Leith towards Currie before cutting up Poet's Glen to Bonaly Country Park, looping back to the start via Colinton.  About 8 miles (13-14Km), 4 - 5 hours.

The route is on good paths throughout; there is an option if there is the time/inclination to climb Torduff Hill which is a rocky hill above Torduff Reservoir which will involve a steep slope for a short descent.  There a couple of long flights of steps and the paths could be muddy in places.  Wear some boots that you don't mind getting dirty and some warm clothes.
