This is an informative flat walk on paths and pavements. I will be pointing out features of interest, historical and architectural including why Leamington had elephants, the link t0 World War II Czechoslovakian resistance and many other things. We will weave our way through Leamington's parks and regency streets stopping half way for coffee where you can view the Turkish baths and hopefully we can see the National Bowling Green championships which are presently scheduled to be taking place. Leamington is also known for it's annual Peace festival, food festival and more recently Gay Pride. It is the main dormitory town for students at Warwick University and has quite a cosmopolitan culture. After our walk there are plenty of places to take more refreshments and you might consider spending a little more time in the Art gallery and museum or browsing some of the interesting shops.
