This 7 mile walk will be GOC London's 9th and the penultimate part of the Capital Ring. The walk initially passes through Stoke Newington streets before entering Springfield Park. It then follows the Lee Navigation waterway, and then the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park, past the Abbey Mills Pumping Station and then joins the Greenway, a walking and cycling route which runs on top of the major Northern Outfall Sewer. A short detour of the Greenway will take us to the end of the walk at Plaistow station.
