This is an eight mile, kind of figure of eight walk, along the former Didcot to Southampton Railway as it leaves the chalk escarpment, north down an inclined embankment towards DIDCOT. Reaching EAST HAGBOURNE we explore the village, it's links to the artist - Alfred QUINTON and Doctor WHO. We then pass under the embankment for WEST HAGBOURNE, before returning up to UPTON, Oxon. There will be several public houses on route for refreshment.
