A circular walk to view the Falls of Clyde from New Lanark
An 8 mile undulating circular riverside walk in woodland from New Lanark. The route is mostly on muddy paths with some steep drops to the waterfalls and river. Good boots are needed. The route passes thought the Falls of Clyde National Nature Reserve. See link to the reserve leaflet below. The milling village of New Lanark is one of only six UNESCO World Heritage Sites in Scotland. See a link to a short video about the site below.
