This walk of just over 9 miles starts in the jewel of the North Cotswolds, Chipping Campden, home to Brian and Peter GOC members, mountaineers and winners of the prestigious O’Rourke award for the best open garden 2026!

Having viewed the many beautiful buildings on the High Street we set off towards Broad Campden our first chocolate box village.  We then climb a small hill to arrive at Northwick Park, formerly home to WWII Polish Ex Servicemen and their families, it’s now a business park and our coffee stop.
Refreshed we will continue on via Paxford and some beautiful Cotswold countryside to our lunch stop in Ebrington yet another pretty village.

Theres another small hill to climb and a railway tunnel to negotiate, site of the Battle of Mickleton Tunnel in 1851, before we return to the start point in Chipping Campden where there are numerous options for refreshments.
Bring a packed lunch and drinks as there are no shops en route. Dress for the weather, there may be mud and one boggy bit if it’s been raining.
