Stoke by Nayland August walk
From the impressive Wool Church of St Mary’s in Stoke by Nayland we will walk down the Box valley to Scotland Hall for the morning break then up to Withermarsh Green for picnic lunch. Return on local footpaths in the afternoon to Stoke. A very pleasant but less well known part of the Dedham Vale.
There are two very good old Wool Inns in the village for after walk refreshments.
No cattle or sheep near the footpaths so it’s fine for dogs.
All old and new members and guests most welcome.
Please do not be put off if you don’t see other members signing up on the website as most regulars don’t do this. We normally have around 8 walkers each month.
Full details are available to members only
