14 of us set off from Chickerell. The weather was ideal. We crossed 2 hills connected by a short section of road before ascending to Langton Herring where we stopped for refreshments at the Elm Tree pub. Leaving the village we descended to The Fleet and walked alongside it stopping at Moonfleet Manor for tea and visiting the remains of an old church before turning inland and back to the start point.
