For one of our Tuesday walk options of GOC goes to Sitges 2026, new for this year and repeated on Thursday, we offer an easier circular route inland from Sitges to the neighbouring town of Sant Pere de Ribes and back. For more photos, taken in January 2025, see Google Photos.

We will leave Sitges north of the station to cross the highway toward the Sitgetana Brewery (the route down from our Olivella and Ermita de la Trinitat walks), then turn sharp left to follow alongside the highway for a short while.  From there we will walk through fields, vineyards and some woodland to enter Sant Pere from the east.

After a lunch break of about 45 minutes  in the main square, where you can buy lunch from one of the many shops and cafes available, we will pass through the old town and by the castle before leaving to the west.

Our return route will take us through carob orchards and past the historic Autodrome at Rocamar (visible from our Vilanova walk), before following the dry river bed to the coast at the Terramar hotel and into Sitges along the promenade from the west.

If you prefer a shorter walk of just 5 miles, you can take the 10 minute Plana bus between Sitges and Sant Pere (either or both ways).

Bookings will open on 1 July - please book as early as possible and by Friday 16 October at the latest.  Capacity will be limited to 20, for a manageable group.
