A Saturday evening urban ramble around historic Lichfield
This six-mile, largely urban, ramble will begin in front of the stunning Lichfield Cathedral, its three spires dominating the skyline and medieval carvings rewarding those who want to browse inside before we start the walk. We will then do a six-mile circuit mixing leafy paths and lakeside views. The centre of Lichfield is peppered with historic landmarks and a mix of Tudor and Georgian architecture
As part of a GOC initiative to offer even more value to the many members who travel a long distance to join Sunday walks, this is a shorter Saturday afternoon walk from the same start spot as Sunday's walk. Here is the link to Sunday's walk: https://www.goc.org.uk/event/a-sunday-rural-hike-starting-in-historic-lichfield/
You may also be interested in the evening meal on Saturday night. A booking link will be added later.
