A gentle walk of about 4 miles from Swaffham Prior to the beautiful village of Reach and back.

We walk along the delightful droveway, which is normally impassable in the winter but very pleasant in the summer. There is pasture on one side and cultivated crops on the other. We emerge at the far end of Reach and will walk into the village for a picnic lunch on the village green. Drinks are available from the village pub.

After lunch we will return to Swaffham Prior along a stretch of the Devil's Dyke.
