Gorebridge Castles Circular

This walk has been taken from the guide book 'Midlothian Station Walks' by Brain Gould and Forbes Shepherd.  It starts from Gorebridge railway station and is a 10 mile loop to the east of Gorebridge.  Its an area we've not really explored properly, but the area looks to have some attractive walking in woodland and along the Tyne River.   It takes paths through woodland, fields and lanes to visit Catcune, Borthwick and Crichton Castles, plus the Baronial Mansion of Vogie House (where there is a tearoom).
