A circular 7 mile walk starting at Watership Down in North Hampshire.
A leisurely stroll along the scarp of the North Wessex Downs, with views to the Kennet Valley, Highclere Castle and pretty Kingsclere. In April, weather permitting, the views should be far reaching and a photographers' delight. On the walk we pass by gallops and an Iron Age Hill fort which is a site of Special Scientific Interest and also a Scheduled Monument. It has never been excavated but the land and ditch are well preserved.
