A circular walk which sets off following the route of the abandoned Hythe and Sandling railway, before heading north to Peene where we will have lunch. After that its a short section along the route of the Elham Valley railway and a steep ascent onto the north downs ridge with fine views out to the sea and as far as Dungeness on a clear day. Return to Sandling is via another fairly steep descent and across fields.
