Beinn Dubh from Luss
Beinn Dubh is a small mountain to the west of Loch Lomond. Rising to 642m (2106ft), it is mostly grassy in character, it affords great views of the islands at the southern end of Loch Lomond, Ben Lomond on the opposite side of Loch Lomond and the higher hills of the Southern Highlands.
We will climb the hill from the village of Luss on the shores of Loch Lomond, and climb the south ridge of the mountain to the summit. We can then loop around over Coire na h'Eanachan to descend back to Luss by Glen Luss.
About 11.5km (c7miles). This is a mountain walk so expect some steep climbs and descents.
People intending to take part in this event should read GOC's document Safety in the Hills.
