Beinn Bheula
Beinn Bheula is quite a remote Corbett accessed from the village of Lochgoilhead. Although its fairly modest in height, it is quite a rugged mountain and, according to Walkhighlands, the going is rough in places. We will follow the ascent route published in Walkhighlands, which uses forestry tracks for a good distance, but we may return by the ascent route, rather than make a loop to avoid some very rough pathless terrain.
c11km (7 miles) with 790m of ascent, about 5-6 hours.
Photos are generic mountain pictures, but the main picture is of Beinn Bheula from Cnoc Coinnich.
People intending to take part in this event should read GOC's document Safety in the Hills.
