Ben Vane

Ben Vane is one of the Arrochar Alps, a group of rocky mountains North of Glasgow.  We will climb the mountain from the car park by the power station at Inveruglas.  The climb is on forestry track and mountain path and there is some easy scrambling higher up on the hill.  The route is steep and sustained but gets you to the top quite quickly.  About seven miles there and back (11km - about 5 hours).
