The Isle of Mull
Isle of Mull meet at Dervaig Bunkhouse
The isle of Mull is one of the Inner Hebrides and has a stunning coastline and a mountainous interior dominated by the Munro of Ben More. The island offers plenty of opportunities for hill, mountain and coastal walking, cycling or wildlife watching (it has the largest eagle population in the UK). There is also the island of Iona, Iona abbey with its connections to St Columba. The prime objective will be to climb Ben More, the most interesting ascent of which involves some exposed scrambling.
We have booked the village hall bunkhouse in the village of Dervaig. This is a small bunkhouse so places are limited.
People intending to take part in this event should read GOC's document Safety in the Hills.
