A Walk to Blow Away the Cobwebs
You’re invited to visit my farm for a walk with a slight difference – a shorter walk in rural and pleasant Shropshire. Starting in our farmyard, high up on a hill with tremendous views we will walk along the ridge and you’ll have the opportunity to ask any questions relating to beef farming.
We will eventually drop down to lower levels to walk around some pools owned by Shropshire Wildlife Trust. Here we’ll stop for dinner.
Afterwards I’ll show you how I can feed 200 cattle in 12 minutes we’ll then steadily return to our starting point which is a long gentle incline. The whole route is between 3 and 4 miles. If the weather is good there is always the opportunity to add a short extension – we can decide on the day.
After the walk, which should finish around 15:30 you’re very welcome to come into the farmhouse for tea and biscuits before setting off home. Please wear suitable and warm clothing and footwear.
