Ben Gullipen
Ben Gullipen
Ben Gullipen is the highest point of a elongated ridge just west of Callander and south of Loch Venachar. At 414m (1358ft) the hill is not particularly high but has unobstructed views of Loch Venachar and The Trossachs.
The walk starts from the centre of Callander and follows woodland paths and forestry tracks to the summit of the hill and is suitable for typical November day. The route returns by the ascent route, but there could be options to make a loop via some alternative tracks if desired.
About 8 miles (14km) (about 4 - 5 hours). Max elevation 414 meters.
