Between Portreath and Godrevy the path runs along high level cliffs hopefully with ponies, seabirds and seals visible.

From Godrevy  with it's offshore lighthouse to Hayle, the emphasis is on sand, dunes and beaches

After Hayle Towans we circumnavigate Hayle harbour estuary.

From Lelant we meet the railway  and housing leading up to St Ives beach and harbour
