From the hotel I will turn right towards Lea Marston village, where I'll turn left to Whitacre Heath, go straight at a staggered junction under the railway and take the path immediately right alongside the railway. This is where I rejoin the Heart of England Way (HofE Way)

The path goes alongside the railway then turns left goes under another railway heads east alongside that railway with Shustoke reservoir to the right

The Way takes a right going south over the B4114, on to Green End, under the M6 and A45 and on to the east of Meriden

It eventually reaches Berkswell with it's grade 1 listed church, with one of the finest Norman crypts and a timbered room over the church porch.

I will go on along Spencer's Lane to Carol's Green and beyond to right turn on Nailcote Lane with Nailcote Hall on the left
