JOGLE Day 31 Melrose to St Boswells
Today we start on a pilgrimage route, following the life of St Cuthbert, who carried out his pupillage in Melrose Abbey, before becoming a Bishop of Lindersfarne. Unfortunately we don't complete the route to Lindersfarne.
Today we make a steep climb (from 100m to 320m) up the pass in the shapely Eildon Hills (our 3rd and last National Scenic Area) with well earned views at the top. We decend through Bowden and follow Bowden Burn to the Tweed. This can be muddy. Then a delightful riverside section to St Boswells.
