The Great Glen Way gives 2 options today, a high level route above the tree line with views of Loch Ness or a low level route through trees with no views. The high level route has 1,200 extra feet of climbing.

I would prefer to take the high level route, but if the weather's awful, I will take the low level route. I believe the views of Loch Ness are worth the climb.
