A Linear Walk Connecting Gare Loch and Loch Lomond

The walk will use the Three Lochs Path and sections of the John Muir Way to walk between Craigendoran railway station on the shores of Gare Loch, and Balloch on Loch Lomond over the hills between the two lochs.  The walk is coordinated around trains from Glasgow Queen St to Craigendoran and return trains from Balloch.  c8miles (12km) with 1000ft (300m) of climbing. The walk may be extended a few miles by walking along the River Leven path and getting the train back at one of the stops along the way (Alexandria, Renton or Dalreoch).
