Thanks to the 20 or so in total that came on Saturday for our first GOC London welcome social at the Kings Arms in Soho - to spend time together indoors, even on such a lovely afternoon outdoors! I think it was generally agreed to have been a great success, and that we should do it again.

These new welcome socials are an opportunity for new and experienced GOC members to connect with each other, and with newcomers to GOC who book from our new GOC Meetup group.  For these newcomers it is an opportunity to meet GOC and some of our members, and to consider joining as a member themselves.

This first event was scheduled in partnership with the GOC Hertfordshire group to coincide with their visit to The Photographers Gallery, London – A bold new exhibition charting over 60 years of queer photographs.
