This is a flat, easy 5.5-mile walk. Starting from London Bridge Station, we will head first to Tower Bridge, which we will use to cross to the north bank. From there, we will follow the Thames Path eastbound through Wapping and Shadwell, until we reach Ropemakers' Gardens, where we will stop for a lunch break. There will also be the option of a drink in the Grapes Public House on Narrow Street, which is almost opposite the gardens. After lunch, we will walk through to the northern side of Ropemakers' Gardens, where we will join the Limehouse Cut for a walk of about an hour to Three Mills Island. We will then cross over the canal for the short walk to Bromley by Bow underground station to begin our journeys home.

You will not need walking boots, but please wear shoes that are comfortable to walk in.
